Privacy Policy

This is a small editorial site and it is built to need very little from you. There is no account to create, no newsletter gate, no login, and no comment system, so in ordinary use you can read every page here without handing over anything at all.

What is collected

Our server keeps standard request logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser's user-agent string — which is how web servers work everywhere and how we keep the site running and spot faults. These logs are kept briefly and then discarded.

If we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate measures such as how many people visited a page. We do not build profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not run advertising networks on these pages.

If you email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with the matter, and no longer. That information is not added to any list.

What is never done

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information with third parties for their own purposes. There is nothing here to sell, and selling it is not part of how this site works.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser and the site will still function normally. You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@bestpitchbattles.com; we will do so unless a law requires otherwise. If this policy changes we will replace this page, and the version you are reading is the one in force.
